Do you offer custom work? Yes! Send your ideas and we'll create something special just for you..
How long will it take to get my order? Metal Art Work generally ships within 7 working days. They are shipped UPS Standard Ground and delivery can vary from 3 to 7 days. Custom Orders will depend on scheduling at the time of purchase and complexity of the metal art work. Cast Iron Decor products are in stock and generally ship next day.
What finish do you put on your metal art? Metal Art is generally finished with a Flat Black spay paint. Some have no finish at all and will rust naturally or available for mounting before you add your finish.
Do you offer wholesale pricing? I do not offer wholesale pricing on my Metal Art Silhouettes.
Do you make your metal art in smaller sizes? NO. I have found that I loose to much detail. Keep in mind all work is by hand with a gas torch not plasma or computer operated equipment.
What is the process for creating a work of metal art by hand as you do it? First, I start with a basic design or concept then spend time with my photo program to get the design ready for pattern work. A paper pattern is then created of the design in the size required. I then cut out all the white areas of this pattern with and exacto knife. Next the pattern is placed on the steel sheet and traced out in chalk. Now the cutting begins with a conventional acetylene and oxygen torch by hand. The piece is then cleaned and shaped with an angle grinder to remove any slag or sharp edges. T
Do you ship your products overseas? NO. Not at this time.
I don't know where to start. A picture, pencil drawing, graphic or illustration and a picture of where your steel art will be displayed is most helpful in creating your metal art. Estimate the size of the piece you would like to create. You can get a good perspective on the size of the piece from your images and location photo. Thickness of the metal you wish to use. I like 3/16" steel plate for metal wallhanging , for metal signs,or metal gate panels use 3/16" or 1/4" depending on the support structure. Options for mounting your art work. I worry about what you will do with my personnel information if I buy from you? Your Privacy is important to us. All Communications with us are confidential and will not be sold, rented or distributed to others. Information that we receive from our payment gateway (PayPal) is also kept in strict confidence.
Do You take other kinds of payment? I do not have a PayPal account. I do except personnel checks but keep in mind that you will need to send in your order by mail request. With your order, include the total price of your order plus the appropriate shipping fee. After your check clears, your products will be shipped. This is time consuming and will take a couple weeks to receive your order.
Is PayPal safe to use ? PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with me,the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for your transaction.
